I make my home in a suburb of Denver, CO with my wife, Jennifer, and three young daughters. readers may notice that from this point Barnacle is actually not entirely bored.
Watching them dive into books and sharing the adventures of their favorite characters was the impetus for writing and illustrating his own stories. Joanthan has a BFA in Sculpture from Clemson University. His work is also in collections such as the Booth Western Museum and the Arthur Blank Family Foundation. He has done art work for Verizon, Room 214, GroundFloor Media, Nationwide, Home Depot, Telespine and 3W Races. Reading books to his own children has been one of the best experiences of his life. His paintings have appeared on ., New American Paintings, and in numerous regional newspapers and publications. He's also written and illustrated Love is in the Air, Guppy Up!, and Woodward and McTee. Jonathan is also a gallery artist and has exhibited his paintings all over the United States.
